            Title: Pavane No.5 (from "Seis Pavanes da el Maestro")
           Author: Luis de Milan  (1500 - 1561 / Renaissance)
   Transcribed by: Adam Guzowski (guitarra@poczta.fm)
             Date: 16-XII-2002
Other corrections: (...are welcome)

1) Guitar tuning: (standard) EAGDBE - Old lute music sounds good with Capo
                                      on 3rd or 4th fret

2) General Info: And now for the 5th one. This 'Pavane' play rather faster than
                 the others. And it's also very happy, and a good tune for
                 listening to. It's rather easy (hmmm... all Milans pavanes are
                 easy :), but the interpretation is hard.
                 IMPORTANT. don't play all the chords with arpeggio !!!
                 Segovia, played the chords almost like "staccato". So, beware.
                 Watch for the 8th measure from the end. This is not a mistake.
                 It should be like it is. Look for the 'accents'
                 All notes, are full-, half-, and quarter-notes.
                 Listen to the MIDI... Good luck ! :)

3) Tablature info:

   1 2 3 4     -> left hand fingering
   (I) -> Hold BARRE Chord (on exp. 1st fret)
   Arp.        -> Arpeggio
   ,,,,, -> Try to hold bass note, as long as possible (to the end of ,,,)
    . -> Dotted note (single dote, above the chord, note (-s))
   (!) -> 'accent', play this note(-s) chord, a little more 'forte'
   (^) -> Fermata, (play this chord, much longer)

Tempo: 4/4  (prox. 215 bpm)
